Ancer Mudlogging Solution

AMS suite offers complete solution to the complexities that make drilling operations a nightmare to geologists, pressure engineers and company representatives helping them to drill efficiently with the greatest cost-effectiveness as possible.

The 7-in-1 software suite was developed with the assistance of professional geologists, petroleum engineers and information analyst making it user friendly. The solution, designed to run on the windows platform with SQL SERVER as its backend

  • Is capable of monitoring, analyzing and interpreting drilling data and parameters
  • Is capable of transmitting the data to a field base station or base office via WITSML or/and Internet via http.
  • Has 100% redundancy for data storage
  • Has audible and visual alarm system.
  • Provides sound, timely, accurate and reliable information on drilling engineering practices essential for sound drilling decisions.
  • Is capable of plotting Composite, Mud, Gas, ROP, Drilling, and Pressure logs.

AMS is optimized for real-time data transmission over a local area network (Rig site) and wide area network via the internet or corporate intranet. This flexibility allows cost effective viewing of real-time data by multiple clients wherever required.
The AMS suite comprises of

  • AncerDAQ – Real-time Data Acquisition and analysis
  • Ancer Rigwatch – Real-time and historical data display across the rig site.
  • Ancer DrillChart – Real-time and historical chart and trend display
  • Ancer Driller Console – Rig floor station monitor
  • Ancer Log Plotter – Log plotting and output
  • Ancer DataTrak – Real-time & historical well data reporting
  • Ancer Rigwatchonline (Optional) – Real-time and historical
    data display via the internet

AncerDAQ is responsible for all real-time Mud logging and drilling data services. It is used primarily by the data engineers to calibrate sensors, set alarm points and configure archival options. Once running, it scans all sensors once per second and displays the calculated and drilling logic results and saves it to an online MSSQL database, providing real-time data to AncerRigwatch, AncerChart, AncerDriller Console, and AncerLogPlotter.
The data can also be sent to a WITSML server provided by the client.

AncerRigwatch provides real-time alpha-numeric, trends and graphical displays of mud logging and drilling data on networked PC workstations which enable networked users to view real-time data across the rig site.

AncerChart eliminates the use of cumbersome strip chart recording machines for data trend analysis. Chart channel selection and color format are configured according to client requirements and operates in all modes (Drilling, Tripping and Circulation).
The scrolling and playback feature allows the operator to view historical data, information and annotations and assist pressure engineer and Company’s Representatives in interpreting the drilling conditions towards the goal of improving drilling efficiency.

AncerLogPlotter generates and updates the several varieties of well logs such as mud log, composite log, drilling log, Gas log, ROP log and pressure log to Company's specifications using the data stored in the online database or/and entered manually (calcimetry, lithology comments). Outputs of the logs are available on white paper (print out) and in PDF format.
